Columbus guide for manufacturing

Global business consultancy and software developer, Columbus, has released a free new guide to help discrete manufacturers with planning and streamlining their production.

Optimising Production is the second of four volumes written and produced by Columbus.

With the introduction of our second volume, Optimising Production, we believe manufacturers will discover fresh new ways their peers are working smarter

Mary Hunter, Columbus UK
Mary Hunter, managing director, Columbus UK, said: “We’re thrilled to see so many manufacturers across the UK and beyond responding to our Manufacturing Scenario guides. With the introduction of our second volume, Optimising Production, we believe manufacturers will discover fresh new ways their peers are working smarter.”

Optimising Production sets out the case for having a comprehensive, easy-to-use and effective suite of planning tools to significantly improve the operational performance of a business.

It notes the gains made when buyers and production planners have clear visibility of what is required, when it is required and why it is required.

The free guide draws on case studies from over 6,000 projects that illustrate how Columbus has helped companies address these issues using Microsoft Dynamics together with tools from the ColumbusManufacturing solution set.
