K3 and BM Polyco form partnership
23 April 2013
BM Polyco, one of Europe’s largest technical glove manufacturers, will be partnering with K3 as part of a business data project that it is hoped will enable a ‘single view of the customer’.
K3 will be delivering Microsoft customer relationship management and business intelligence solutions and it is planned the partnership will see the integration of core back-office systems, which will enable customer information to be recorded and documented for data analysis purposes.
With a vision to achieve better business efficiencies and visibility, K3 will enable BM Polyco to retain more details from customer engagement, which will enable problem isolation and develop a more intensive and insightful analysis platform to better comply with and predict the needs of customers.
“This project is about helping our business better understand and generate new opportunities in the existing market,” said Gerrard Shuttleworth, business service director at BM Polyco. “Through the analysis of sales patterns and other critical business data, we are able to identify products that are selling well in a particular market sector and then compare it to a product that might not be fulfilling its potential.”
Accessing this type of data will enable us to create new insights into subsets of clients and target them with more personalised marketing campaigns, in turn increasing product awareness and sales
BM Polyco “Accessing this type of data will enable us to create new insights into subsets of clients and target them with more personalised marketing campaigns, in turn increasing product awareness and sales,” Shuttleworth continued
It is hoped that the end-to-end system will eventually be able to analyse and specify the business costs and sales that particular suppliers generate.
John Little, sales director at K3, said: “This is an exciting time to be working with BM Polyco and we are pleased to have been selected as their partner on this project. The capabilities of Microsoft CRM and BI combined will not only improve core business process over time, but also support organic company growth.”
