New Dynamics NAV system for Access2

Access2 has implemented a brand new Microsoft Dynamics NAV solution as a replacement for its obsolete accounting and enterprise resource planning system.

A leading master keyed cylinder lock providerthe company’s latest solution was supplied by Azzure IT, an end-to-end IT specialist.

The new solution has been rolled out across sales, purchasing, stock control, warehousing, assembly and financial management, and will aid the streamlining of manual processes.

The solution is also improving automating stock control processes, and will enable the lock provider to provide access control, security system and doors to its customer base across the UK with greater ease and efficiency.

The announcement of the end-of-life for the Sage 100 system led the company into making the decision.

“It was the perfect opportunity to make the move,” said Brian Nesbitt, finance director at Access2. “A key drawback of the current system was that we were unable to electronically track our stock control and due to the complex nature of the products we manufacture, this was causing serious inefficiencies, particularly in our stock levels.”

Access2 took the decision to adopt the solution offered by Azzure rather than upgrade their original system, and Nesbitt is confident that the new solution will help the company to achieve its next set of business plans.

“It is important we have the right IT infrastructure in place that is capable of meeting the needs of our business today and as we continue to grow,” Nesbitt explained. “Based on our experience of working with Azzure, I’m confident we now have the right solution for our business.”
