PCI compliance tool for Dynamics AX

Microsoft Dynamics AX reseller AlfaPeople has partnered with independent payment gateway Shift4 Corporation to bring enhanced security and simplified PCI compliance to Dynamics AX users.

We needed a payments solution that was flexible enough to meet our customers' needs and secure enough to protect their brand and simplify their PCI-compliance efforts

Randy Cole, AlfaPeople

The partnership pairs AlfaPeople's retail expertise with Shift4's industry-payment technologies.

”Shopping has evolved to become a truly multi-channel experience for today's shoppers who are digital, social, mobile, enabled and informed,” said AlfaPeople's director of sales Randy Cole. “We needed a payments solution that was flexible enough to meet our customers' needs and secure enough to protect their brand and simplify their PCI-compliance efforts. With Shift4, we met both goals.”

Shift4's Dollars On The Net payment solution can be integrated with Microsoft Dynamics AX to offer retailers card data security including point-to-point encryption.

By leveraging these technologies, retail merchants can reduce their card data environment to the size of their swipe device and remove their networks and back-office systems from the scope of their annual PCI assessments.

In addition to security, Shift4's Dollars on the Net solution provides pre- and post-settlement auditing capabilities, fraud protection, and complete bank and processor neutrality.

This allows retailers to change banks or processors as needed, with no risk of losing their transaction data and no interruption of service.

Bob Lowe, Shift4’s vice president of business development, said: ”Our solutions provide additional flexibility to accept payments how and where business needs dictate, and simplify payment processing so that retailers have more time to focus on their customers.”
