SIS to install Dynamics AX at AMID

SIS Software is to implement the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system Microsoft Dynamics AX at Al Mousa Industrial Division (AMID), a supplier of industrial cabling and related products to major international construction projects.

Being able to run Dynamics AX in the cloud and transact in multiple currencies with financial institutions were key factors behind AMID’s choice.

Dynamics AX also meets AMID’s criteria by being scalable, cost effective and flexible.

“The decision to partner with SIS for ERP services was an easy one,” said Charlie Booth, AMID’s general manager. “While at Rexel (globally sourced electrical materials and services provider), I was impressed with SIS’s consulting services and implementation of other software projects and decided that I would rely on them again for assistance with the decision process of ERP and implementation of Dynamics AX at AMID.”

AMID is currently involved in the construction of a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Jubail Industrial City II in Saudi Arabia, and this involvement has led to the aggressive schedule of the ERP implementation.
