United Fire Group selects Accenture

United Fire Group will use the Accenture solution to streamline claims processes

US insurance provider United Fire Group will be using the Accenture Claim Components software as its core claims processing system. The new system will help United Fire Group streamline claims processes and improve service for both agents and customers.

“Providing superior claims handling to customers that have experienced a loss is our top priority,” said David E. Conner, the insurance group’s vice president and chief claims officer. “Accenture Claim Components will support increased automation to maximise the efficiency of the claims management process, allowing our agents and adjusters to focus on the people instead of the process.”

Accenture Claim Components is a comprehensive claims management solution covering property and casualty (P&C) claims functions from first notice of loss to settlement and recovery, for all lines of business. The solution provides real-time analytics and business-driven configuration consoles that will assist United Fire Group to more efficiently manage individual claims and more effectively balance its claims workload.

“We are pleased that United Fire Group has selected Accenture Claim Components for their core claims management system,” said Michael A. Jackowski, global managing director of Accenture Software for P&C insurance. “Built on a modern technology platform that helps to achieve a lower cost per claim and reduce IT costs overall, Accenture Claim Components provides a robust claims processing solution to insurers of all sizes. Accenture Claim Components is highly configurable, function-rich and is designed to seamlessly integrate with the insurer’s existing IT infrastructure.”
